Day 30- July 26 Cape Breton to Halifax
It was sunny this morning so after breakfast we went for a swim in the pool before we left.

Great way to start a sunny morning |

Gale kid in his natural environment |
Our first stop was Farmers Daughter Market for some fresh veggies and fruit. I also picked up a nice picture frame for the cottage with a message about memories. Today we drove down roads we have already been on, so we saw more dead porcupines and red topped roads.

I just ordered garlic fingers for me! |
Drove through Antigonish and then into New Glasgow for fuel and groceries. By 5:00 we were pulling into our campsite at Hammond Plains just outside Halifax. We can set up in under 10 minutes!
 |
Happy travelers, we finally got the medication right! |
 |
Everyone helps out |
So we decided to unhook the trailer and go find another parliament building, this time the Province House in Halifax. This old sandstone building had a large wrought iron black fence around it. The gate was open so we drove right in and parked. Only one more parliament to go for Hailey.

In honor of fallen soldiers or Jumanji? |

We are on our own happy medication |
Drove along waterfront/wharf and to Pleasant Park to check out what we wanted to do tomorrow. Saw some huge homes on Young street as we passed by. Brody has been great with maps and setting up our GPS, as well as picking campsites. Gale question of the day, what do you call someone from Halifax?
