Day 11- July 7 Quebec City to Perth-Andover, New Brunswick
Left our KOA site just outside of Quebec City and set the GPS to New Brunswick.

Our competent driver & co-pilot. |
Got to the border after only 3 hours of driving. Stopped at the visitor center for camping maps and to take photos. We haven't had to pre-book any campgrounds along the way. Time to change our clocks ahead one hour as we are now on Atlantic time.

Another province! |
Tropical storm ARTHUR went through New Brunswick from Ferdrickton to Miramichi Saturday night and Sunday. Lots of trees down in that area and power outages as well due to the strong winds. Had lunch in the trailer again, you guessed it, raining AGAIN. Cooler temperatures makes it great for traveling!

Tropical Storm Arthur's damage! |
Fuel seems to be getting cheaper at $1.34 as we fueled up in Edmondston. We stopped at Grand Falls & gorge which seems like a very nice little town. Water was very dirty from all the rain in the area.

New Brunswick! |
Decided to pull in early after driving for 5 hours today at Perth-Andover at the Robert E. Baird Memorial Park. They had only just got their power back on as we pulled in, but we weren't too worried as we have our own generator. Still can't believe we are in New Brunswick!
That co-pilot is getting a bit grey...was he before or has that just happened since embarking on this trip :)
ReplyDeleteSOOOO exciting!!! How fun to explore new provinces in our own country!!! :) Can't wait to hear all about it!!!
