Day 19- July 15 Cape Breton
Left Linwood NS and crossed the Strait of Canso on the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton. Had to stop so the bridge could turn so a tall sailboat could go through to the locks. Didn't take too long, but interesting to watch.

Stopped at the visitor center in Port Hasting and booked our campsite and picked a place for lunch while there. Drove north along the coast and we could see St. George's Bay, then the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Nice drive |
Stopped at Glenville at the Glenora Distillery for lunch while listening to Celtic music. One musician was playing the piano and the other on violin or his accordion. Very upbeat music while eating a fantastic meal.

Got to Inverness for fuel and then to our site at The Lakes. Set up and kids went for a swim in the small lake. Then Brody and Darby took out 2 single kayaks for about a half hour in the rain.
