Day 28- July 24 Ferry to Nova Scotia
We left our campsite early today to get to the ferry 2 hours before sailing time at 11:45. We arrived in good time to the ferry terminal at Port aux Basque, walked Mickey and did some shopping at the gift store while we waited. Misty today with a light drizzle making things damp.

Campsite at Doyle NFLD |
Mickey is down below again and we can't check on him. He did great last time, but he is still on our mind during our voyage.
 |
Looks like Scott is concerned! |
 |
I'm all cozy and warm |

Finishing yet another book |
 |
My novel is done |
As we were arriving at our terminal we walked on the deck to check out the Nova Scotia coast line.
 |
Almost there, we see Nova Scotia |
 |
Welcome back to Nova Scotia |
Another smooth voyage on the St. John's Highlander, and Mickey did great once again.
 |
Looks like a great place for chicken! LOL |
Made it to our campsite at Adventures East Campground and the kids headed right for the pool for a dip.
I love that pic of Scott being "concerned"...think it's a guy thing, Bill has the same affliction.
ReplyDeleteAwww poor Mickey! How come you couldn't check on him? Are you SURE "Lick a Chick" is really a chicken place?!?? tee hee
