Our campground is a provincial site so no Wifi or power. We had fun using our propane lantern and roughing it, LOL. It was a nice big treed site which we loved.
Big treed site |
We heard the razor buzzing from an unknown bird or cicada insect this morning from our campsite. After Darby made a fantastic pancake breakfast we put on our swim suits and bike helmets to go find the beach. We followed the trail through the trees, under the main road through a tunnel, over bridges and boardwalks and MANY tree roots to the ocean. It was a hot sunny day and the tide was coming in on the red pebbled beach. We all had a very nice swim in the warm Northumberland Strait waters.

We had fun watching the hermit crabs walking on the sandy bottom. Scott took video again with his underwater drift camera. Hailey so loves playing in the sand and collecting shells.
High tide |
We drove through downtown Amherst and past lots of old churches as we left our site.
So many churches |
We drove out of Nova Scotia back to Shediac, New Brunswick to the Oceanic Campground. We have power so can get caught up on my blog. We are very close to Parlee Provincial beach for tomorrow's adventures.
Happy but tired travelors today |
