Day 35- July 31 Parlee Beach, New Brunswick
Lazy morning for us at Oceanic campground before we biked to Parlee Beach. We had our backpacks filled with towels, cameras, chairs, snacks, water and pail for the day. It took us 25 minutes to bike down the road and through the paths to the beach.
Parlee beach is a provincial park with sandy beaches, lots of lifeguards high up on perches near the sand dunes. Darby and I went swimming WAY out in the Northumberland Strait as there were lots of sand bars. Darby was diving down looking at the hermit crabs on the bottom. Kids played and dug in the sand and Scott went for his usual beach walk.

We enjoyed lunch on the outside patio of the Parlee Beach Restaurant on the hot sunny day. Still in the seafood mood we had fish tacos, clam chowder, lobster caesar wrap and shrimp salad.

Our bike ride back seemed like more work with a little incline and wind, but we made it. Mickey was chilling on Darby's bed looking out the window waiting for us. We were all off to the pool to cool off from the ride. Darby and Scott picked some blueberries just behind our trailer, I can't wait to have them with breakfast tomorrow.

Did a load of towels tonight and early to bed as we hope to be up early tomorrow.
Lots of beaches!! Scott looks like he's trolling for a bigger towel or umbrella or something....LOL
